Manchester City vs Chelsea

Manchester City vs ChelseaThe Premier League gives way to the 7th round this weekend in England with the Chelsea versus Manchester City game

Manchester City are unbeaten and sit on top of the Premier League with 16 points along with Man United. City stomped Crystal Palace with a  5-0 win on last Saturday. City is the first English team since Blackburn Rovers to score five or more goals in three consecutive matches. Chelsea are three points behind, with four wins from five games, including a 4-0 victory at Stoke on Saturday. Manchester City have not won the Premier League title since 2012/13 and 2013/14. Chelsea have been champions for two of the last three seasons. These two genuine Premier League title contenders will square off at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, September 30, at 12:30 ET.

Chelsea won the title last season and will look to end Manchester City’s unbeaten start to the new season. Former Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata has adapted very swiftly to the Premier League. He made it six goals in as many games with a superb hat-trick at Stoke City. Morata and Pedro capitalized on defensive mistakes against Stoke with a 4-0 win.  The Blues were good enough to claim the title last season,  but more may be required this time. We expect both teams to score on home ground of Chelsea, and Morata will again be a threat.

Manchester City looks to be on another level when it comes to attacking weapons right now. The Citizens have scored an incredible 16 goals in their last three Premier League games. So far this season, Guardiola’s Man City have scored an average of 3.2 goals per game. The difference this season is the strength in depth of the forwards. Sergio Aguero is alongside Morata and Romelu Lukaku at the head. The midfielders Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane, and Fernandinho are scoring compared to last year. City will be at home against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League during midweek. Chelsea has to  travel to Atletico Madrid during midweek. Sportsbooks Games thinks Guardiola’s side will be fresher for this most excellent fixture.

Manchester City vs Watford FC

Manchester City vs Watford FC Watford hosts Manchester City in Premier League match at Vicarage Road Stadium on Saturday

Manchester City head into Saturday’s football game against Watford after their thrilling 5-0 win over Liverpool.  The Citizens need to keep their momentum and  aim to take the top position in the Premier League. Watford managed to beat Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium last weekend. Watford FC is currently ranked 4th in the Premier League standings with 8 points. Manchester City FC is ranked 2nd with 10 points. Watford FC will host Manchester City FC, at Vicarage Road, at 1500 BST on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Watford FC scored a victory at Southampton under head coach Marco Silva last weekend. The Hornets midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure put the Hornets ahead. He and midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah have done well behind forwards Andre Gray and Richarlison. These players are the reason Watford FC is unbeaten with eight points from four games. The Hornets are playing with a lot of confidence at the moment. They have a good team and a lot of strength in the team up front.

Manchester City did crush Liverpool 5-0, but Sadio Mane had to leave in the first half of the game. The Blues midfielder Kevin De Bruyne passing skills helped to carve open Liverpool. Forwards Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero are developing a genuine partnership and they seem to be meshing well. Man City can bring on midfielder Leroy Sane just as defenders are tiring, which spells trouble for opponents. The Blues suffered from some slow starts before, but can now kick on and show their class.  Man City attacking partnership of Aguero and Gabriel Jesus was in a perfect working order against Liverpool. Sportsbooks Games predict that the Citizens are going to extend their winning run in the national championship.

Manchester City vs Liverpool FC

Manchester City vs LiverpoolMan City face off with Liverpool at the Etihad

Manchester City will play host to Liverpool FC in this match at Etihad on Saturday, September 9. The kick-off is scheduled for 12:30 BST/07:30 ET. The match will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League. Both sides sit in the top four after collecting seven points from their opening three games. Both sides have started the season with two wins and a draw. They are both Premier League title hopefuls. Manchester City are still seeking a first home win after being held to a 1-1 draw by Everton. Liverpool have won both their home games, including a 4-0 impressive win of Arsenal. A win for either side in this match would send the victors to the top.

Manchester City has only dropped two points from their first three fixtures so far. Raheem Sterling will be suspended for Manchester City for this match. Pep Guardioala has assembled talented players but they have been far from convincing so far. The Sky Blues wore down Brighton well enough but were then held to a draw at home by Everton. They also came away with a 2-1 win at Bournemouth with seven minutes into stoppage time. City weren’t dominant or coherent in their play. They seem to have a lack of tactical understanding at the moment.

Liverpool didn’t have the best start to the season but are level with City on seven points. Klopp is now adding Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, which will give this well-balanced squad another boost. The earlier signings of Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson and Dominic Solanke are already settling in nicely. Liverpool’s front three of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino have been unstoppable this season. The Reds have a high-tempo game plan to unsettle their hosts. Sportsbooks Games has to give the edge to The Reds in this fixture.

Soccer – Manchester City vs. Everton

Manchester City vs EvertonEtihad Stadium hosts its first game of the 2017/18 season as Everton takes on Manchester City

The Manchester City team this year looks like it’s going to be top contender for the Premier League title this year. Manchester City can bounce right back from their first loss at Tottenham.  Manchester City looks like it could be back at 100 percent in this matchup on the health front. Benjamin Mendy and Ilkay Gundogan are going to be back perhaps as early as this one. Argentinian professional footballer, Sergio Aguero seems to be back in tip top form after struggling for much of last season. Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne could start after his injury but he is in question. Midfielder Fernandinho, looks like a new man at the age of 32. His offseason got him back in good health and h\he is playing at a high level.

Everton is a side that can make this match a nightmare for the Citizens, though.  Ross Barkley’s season is off to a rocky start for Everton. He has yet to get on the pitch thanks to a hamstring problem that will keep him off for this one as well. Everton has spent big buying Wayne Rooney, Jordan Pickford and Gylfi Sigurdsson. Everton have  lost lethal forward Romelu Lukakau to Manchester United. Gareth Barry is hoping to get back on the pitch after sitting out the opener with an ankle injury.  Same could be said for Aaron Lennon. James McCarthy’s knee will probably keep him out of the lineup for this match as well.

If Everton comes out victorious at the Ethiad then people will know another English powerhouse is emerging. If Manchester City wins this match then count them on being favorites for the Premier League title. Sportsbooks Games will give Manchester City the edge to win this match at Etihad Stadium. Don’t miss this English Premier League action at 3 p.m. ET on Monday, August 21, 2017. The fixture will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network.
